Gratitude Tuesday #5
A Reluctant Gratituesday:
I post today on the heels of discouraging news about CLOUD 9. I received a rejection last night. The wait, at least, is over, and I can now move on, put this particular dream on the shelf, and work toward a new one.
The good news: Yesterday, of all days, I started back on the low-carb, no sweets thing. And although tempted, I did not eat any of these:
Today I'm in the mood to write something more along the lines of Top Ten Things That Totally Suck Right Now, but I will spare you that and focus instead on the Top Ten Things That Totally Rock. Here goes:
What's on your list this week?

Today I'm in the mood to write something more along the lines of Top Ten Things That Totally Suck Right Now, but I will spare you that and focus instead on the Top Ten Things That Totally Rock. Here goes:
1. A two-week free trial of Sirius/XM Radio begins tomorrow. Lithium!
2. I love when Biren Radio on Pandora plays the exactly right songs for my mood. On the other hand, that's a little creepy.
3. Still spinning from Coldplay live on August 11th.
4. I'm so grateful for writer-friends who send virtual twitter hugs, chocolate, pumpkin lattes, pints of Half Baked FroYo, and sympathy.
5. Football starts soon. While pre-season football is better than no football at all, I'm looking forward to the real thing. Bills at Jets Sunday, September 9th.
6. This day is half over.
7. Foo Fighters.
8. String cheese.
9. No matter what, I still love CLOUD 9.
10. Coffee. Coffee always rocks.
What's on your list this week?
I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
To hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
Do I stay or run away
